Job Overview:

The Agency team at AdCellerant is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Account Director to drive overall client satisfaction while building & maintaining senior relationships with clients, and actively leading growth of the agency. The Account Director will manage a team of Account Managers & Account Coordinators, lead strategic advertising accounts, and deliver on business objectives tied to client KPIs. This individual will be a self-starter, hard worker, and collaborator who drives strategic revenue retention and growth among our partners and clients. Techint Labs is focused on growing more than 4x over the next 3 years and the Digital Account Director will play a key role in how the company evolves moving forward.


Responsibilities:

Strategy: Work with the Business Development, Media Planning & Buying, Client Services, Creative and Operations teams to develop and implement account management workflow and strategy to retain and grow revenue among strategic clients. Support Business Development in some key new business presentations.

Account Leadership: Leverage understanding of each client’s business and our core competencies to assess the true business needs underlying a client request and align needs to the right strategy, plan & team. Lead onboarding and identify and write clear objectives, strategies, and media planning parameters for each client based on scope of project.

Agency Growth & Retention: Maintain the agency’s high client retention rate by developing and fostering long lasting client relationships. Interpret digital trends and campaign performance to identify new and relevant opportunities across digital and social platforms, while working closely with the Operations, Strategy and Media teams to develop & secure new growth opportunities for clients.

Team Management & Mentorship: Lead and inspire a large integrated Agency team towards insight-driven, holistic marketing plans. In addition, you will manage and develop a team of Account Managers and Account Coordinators in both work-from-home and in-office environments, with a particular emphasis on leadership, strategic thinking and management skills.

Problem Solving: Be solutions-oriented and apply business, client, and digital marketing understanding to solve complex problems quickly & thoroughly - both internally and with client engagements.

Project/Account Management: This position will be responsible for overseeing Techint Labs’ largest advertiser relationships through its strategic Agency team. Duties will include offering strategy and support, analysis and client services where needed to retain and drive revenue.

Communication: Internal communication with the team will be a crucial responsibility of this role to ensure the team is clear on its goals and strategic plans to drive revenue. External communication will include maintaining and elevating our standards of superior client service, translating and executing sophisticated marketing strategies that include digital, creative and traditional media, and maintaining client relationships.

Digital Training & Seminars: This role will participate in planning, building and delivering strategic training for key clients. Topics can vary from broad marketing best practices to specific digital platforms and can be conducted in person or online.

Reporting: Oversee client reporting on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, to align with Techint Labs’ standard operating procedures, and to clearly and effectively communicate KPIs and growth opportunities. Reporting will leverage proprietary technology, as well as Google Analytics and Google Ads.

When problems arise, it will be necessary to perform troubleshooting steps to ensure that issues are properly resolved and document best practices.

Compensation:

$92,500 annual


Location Requirements:

Ability to report to Denver, CO office on occasion preferred. Work from home available.


Other Requirements:

Currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • 7+ years of working and communicating with clients focused on digital marketing, data, operations and/or advertising performance conversations
  • 5+ years in a client services or business development role (at a digital advertising company preferred)
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to understand, execute and oversee a plan once a contract has been signed
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of digital products and services
  • Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
