Job Description

As a CLM Account Executive at Conga, it will be your responsibility to create and run point on sales cycles for our Contract Lifecycle Management solutions for prospective Conga customers.  As an effective Contracts Account Executive, it is important that you have both an inquisitive customer-centric approach and the ability to teach your prospects about best practices, tailor your approach to the prospect, and take control of the sales cycle.  Conga has been a top 10 paid app for 10 years on the AppExchange and amassed 1,100+ 5 star reviews.  As we build out our Contracts sales team you will be asked to provide consistent feedback to ensure that we can course correct to achieve optimal team performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell Conga’s Contract Lifecycle Management solutions.
  • Be able to provide guidance to product marketing on who we engage in Contracts sales cycles and which messages resonate with them. 
  • Qualify opportunities to ensure you focusing your efforts on contracts opportunities that have best opportunity to close.
  • Develop a strong understanding of key differentiators, internal/external systems, sales methodologies and processes in Contracts sales cycles. 
  • Support the close of complex deals involving multiple executive level stakeholders
  • Provide overlay support when necessary to help the sales team navigate the customer buying process, engaging key stakeholders, and closing CLM deals.
  • Work with our Solutions Engineer team to ensure they are understanding contracts requirements and positioning our solution to solve customer needs. 
  • Work with our Sales Enablement, Product, and Product Marketing teams to help them provide product enhancements, collateral, and training to support our global sales teams selling of contract solutions. 
  • Keep accurate notes in Salesforce.com to ensure we have accurate data to grow the business.
  • Accurately forecast contract opportunities. 
  • Learn and incorporate new products and capabilities, sales tactics and tools as we continue to evolve our contracts offerings. 
  • Work closely with Marketing, Partners, and the Sales Team to help them increase demand generation efforts to increase contracts opportunities. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in a Contracts sales or solutions engineer role or extensive experience selling into Finance or Legal departments. 
  • Experience managing and closing complex software as a service sales cycles. 
  • Skilled in conducting in person and online presentations and web demos to C-Level executives, adhering and adopting a measured sales process
  • Previous sales methodology training
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota (top 10% of company) while working and excelling in fast paced, team driven-environments
  • Experience working well in a fast paced changing environment
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com
  • Bachelor’s degree, continued training and education preferred
