The Channel Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing the relationships between VMware Carbon Black and our Partners (re-sellers/MSSPs/IR Firms) who do not have a dedicated Channel Manager. Through strong outbound/inbound activity, working alongside Sales Reps, and with our distribution network, the Channel ISR will work as part of the larger Go-To-Market organization to engage, enable, and empower our large network of partners to spread the good word of Carbon Black.

 

What You’ll Do

Learn the VMware Carbon Black products and messaging

Utilize the tools necessary to be successful: CRM, scripts, WebEx, product info

Build internal relationships with your Inside Sales Reps, Field Reps, Channel Org members, and Channel Engineer

Build external relationships with Partner / Distribution network in your assigned territory (West Region)

Leverage any opportunity you can to learn the market and the business

Learn how to successfully navigate through the organization

Consistently meet goals set forth on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis

 

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience working either in the Channel or within a channel-sales model

Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated interest in SAAS, security, and the channel

Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company

Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills

Drive to operate and make decisions independently

Prospecting and cold calling skills a plus

Experience in lead generation in the high-tech software industry a plus
