About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for prospecting, onboarding, and expanding relationships with carriers. This is achieved through a blend of sales, recruiting, retention and training. You will work directly with other functions to ensure our new carriers are assigned to representatives and/or regions accordingly. You will also work directly with the assigned representatives and respective regional managers to assist with growth, retention, and capacity management. You will also be responsible for providing insight into and improving the overall carrier experience. Our carriers are the backbone of our business and ensuring their success is critical to our own.
We are looking for hard working, dedicated, proactive people who previous experience in freight brokering, transportation management, freight sales and driver recruiting. Our focus is to provide the world’s best driver experience and pay, while creating transformational value for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the customer (driver) through initial onboarding to the system and retention on platform
- Will manage up to 100 driver per rep
- Monitor driver status on filling out required information
- Automated Outbound Reminders to drivers regarding action needed tasks
- Onboard drivers from auto-processing and make sure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner
- Check in daily to ensure all paper is completed
- Check in with drivers' clients once onboarded for day one, day three, day seven check-ins, and then based on customer satisfaction
- Have the ability to visualize KPIs and come up with a plan of action to improve carrier retention
- Educate drivers on average income, coaching points, and to maintain high driver morale during periods of low demand
- Maintain lasting relationship with driver clients
Requirements
- One year experience in sales or recruiting
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment and multitask
- Flexibility in working hours to meet customer requests
- Travel flexibility up to 50%; This is an in office position otherwise, no remote work offered
Preferred
- Logistics/Transportation experience preferred
- Freight brokerage experience preferred
- Fluency in speaking and writing in Spanish
