Business Development Representative

Due to our success we are seeking a smart, motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales organization. This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing startup and learn the business from the ground up. This position is an entry point for ambitious and results oriented individuals and can lead to career paths in both the sales and marketing organizations.
What you’ll be doing:
The BDR role will manage the early stages of the sales process through prospect qualification, helping prospects align to the appropriate resources, reporting, and scheduling for JumpCloud’s Sales organization.
This will be accomplished by engaging with prospects over the phone and with written communication. You will qualify prospect's needs and professionally articulate JumpCloud’s value proposition. Sources include marketing programs, seminars/events, website downloads and inbound contacts from the web, phone and email as well as navigating through large complex accounts, identifying and engaging with the right technology decision makers.
What we're looking for in a great candidate ...
- 2 years in a sales related role. Prior tech product experience would be great but not necessary.
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- A strong desire to build sales skills and advance your sales career.
- High aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Exceptional verbal communication and objection handling skills.
- Flexible, reliable, results-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Talent for interacting with people at all levels.
- Strong computer and Internet skills.
