A bit about us

Do you want to drive transformational change through a fundamental industry and have global impact on the challenges facing humanity? Would you like to make a lasting positive change in the least digitalized industry in the world? AgriWebb is on a mission to deliver the digital future of agriculture by making the production of protein more efficient, sustainable and plentiful. We are seeking to transform global cattle and sheep ranching through software and solutions that deliver sustainability, profitability and provenance across the supply chain.

AgriWebb is the fastest-growing tech startup in agriculture with our tried-and-tested ranch management software. We are rapidly expanding across the globe in multiple markets including the United States, South Africa, New Zealand, the UK and Brazil, with our roots already cemented in Australia.

We are looking for a talented, energetic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead the charge for us in our US expansion efforts.

The opportunity

As we pursue our mission to deliver the digital future of agriculture, we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager (with hustle!) to be one of the first employees on the ground, building a customer base from scratch and generating revenue  for AgriWebb in the US.

This is a newly created role in a new market for AgriWebb, but you won’t be alone. You’ll work with our current teams in Australia and the UK - especially Sales, Marketing and Product - to leverage what already exists and adapt it for what you need. With one of our co-founders planning a move to the US, you’ll have support in building what is sure to be a key office for AgriWebb into the future.

This role is perfect for a driven self starter looking to get stuck into something new. If you love hunting down opportunity and have a passion for the agricultural industry, we want to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

Revenue Generation

  • Contribute to and help to implement a go to market strategy to launch AgriWebb in the US to establish rapid growth in a new market for the business.
  • Research, identify and develop new customer leads and opportunities, managing the process through to negotiation and close.
  • Collaborate with internal resources and external network to penetrate key opportunities.
  • Create reliable pipeline and forecasts, communicating regularly with leadership around challenges and strategies to overcome these.
  • Support customers through the entire sales and onboarding cycle.
  • Understand customer needs and translate this to our Product team for development.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with customers ongoing, helping to ensure we deliver on the value promised and continue to develop a long-standing relationship with our customers.

Building our Brand

  • Establish our presence in the US and promote the vision of AgriWebb as a company.
  • Act as the face of the business, representing AgriWebb in the industry at conferences, trade shows, ranching events and software events to drive further brand awareness and value.
  • Identify emerging market trends and develop a sound understanding of our competitors to provide market and competitor analysis, using this to inform future strategies.
  • Identify potential strategic partnerships and opportunities to increase our footprint and reach.

  • You’re flexible and comfortable with uncertainty, enjoying the opportunity to work outside of a defined position with limited resources to meet the needs of a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Resilient, you see the opportunity in every challenge and can get creative in your approach to get the job done.

What's it like to work with us?

Just because we have a serious mission, doesn't mean we don't have fun achieving it! Beyond the opportunity to have a real impact, we have an incredibly fun and supportive team and a thriving culture that we just know you'll love - and help to build as we set ourselves up in the US.
