We have an immediate opening for a Business Development Manager to join our core sales team. This is a key role on a small, focused team. This role will develop power projects with the owners/managers of man-made water transport canals – a multi-billion dollar opportunity in North America alone. Unlike other renewable energy technology markets, Emrgy’s customers are the managers or owners of the energy resource our technology platform is designed to exploit. We are looking for a Business Development Manager with a proven ability to close deals, thrive in our dynamic startup culture, and build their expertise in hydro project sales.

Our sales team values lean methodologies and a supportive team culture to drive market adoption. Emrgy is highly dynamic and is looking to add a team member who can fit our culture and grow with the company. This opportunity will enable the right person to grow quickly as a sales leader.

We are looking for a college graduate with the following qualities:
• 3-5 years of professional sales experience
• Demonstrated ability to close deals, ideally large ticket-item deals to commercial and/or quasi-governmental customers
• Experience in other renewable energy technology project development/deployment
• Agile and adaptable to evolving business demands
• Natural curiosity and willingness to learn
• Top-notch written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Affinity for technical sales
• Dependable and hardworking
• Takes initiative and has a sense of urgency
• Confident and positive attitude
• Great team worker

Job Description:
• Base salary + commission with strong opportunity to advance career
• Manage territory supporting commercial and water district customers
• Close new market sales, lead generation through to contract execution
• Technical product sales working with distributed renewable power generation
• Frequent travel to partners and key customers
• Work closely with an experienced executive team

• Reports to VP of Business Development
• Located in Louisville, CO
