Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be a sales resource assisting the Chief Business Development Officer and the Director of Business Development in closing new local media and advertising agency partners and assisting the AdCellerant Onboarding Team in training and activating partnerships. In this position, the right individual will be tasked with presenting all aspects of the AdCellerant platform from our capabilities, our tools, and resources, and our proprietary total digital agency software solution, UI.Marketing. The Business Development Manager will also understand how the AdCellerant platform can be applied by prospective partners to complement their owned-and-operated capabilities and platforms that they are executing in-house.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a granular technical and sales knowledge across all major digital platforms including programmatic display advertising (IP targeting, Device ID, MicroProximity/Geofencing, behavioral targeting, content targeting, demo targeting, search retargeting, site retargeting), video (pre-roll, OTT/Connected TV), email, Google (SEO and paid search), and social media and how these tactics can be applied by advertisers to accomplish their goals and objectives. The position will also require the candidate to understand reporting and analytics tools that are being leveraged in the digital advertising space and how these tools can be used to build a campaign fulfillment story. This candidate will also possess the ability to conduct live demos of the AdCellerant platform, understanding how these digital marketing platforms and software can help a potential partner grow their digital sales revenue. Additionally, they can demonstrate the ability to train large scale sales teams across large geographical organizational footprints to help adoption, ramp, and revenue generation. 

 

Strong Salesforce and MS office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a requirement.

 

Job​ ​Responsibilities:

● Conduct live demos of the AdCellerant platform to prospective partners

● Work with new partners to curate and centralize all assets for new partner onboarding and white-labeling

● Track and log all sales activity within Salesforce 

● Help oversee and facilitate the training for all assigned new partners 

● Ability to travel up to 50% for new business opportunities and conferences

● Track and assist in developing new partner pipeline

● Responsible for strategic revenue and new partner growth

● Prospect and cultivate a hit list of new potential media and agency partners

● Vetting attendee lists of conferences to determine opportunities for certain events

● Cold-call prospective partners and agencies and re-engage old pipeline prospects 

● Nurture MQLs or SQLs that come through Pardot or other inbound lead generation mechanisms

● Investigate partner opportunities to assist Director/CBDO in dialogue to establish

● Fielding and answering objections with credibility and honesty on all AdCellerant products, platforms, processes, and best practices and standards

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree required

● 5-7 years of experience in digital sales or digital ad operations, preferably in Advertising and Media Planning

● Strong attention to detail

● Proactive, fast learner

● Strong presentation skills

● Highly organized and able to work with a team

● Adaptable and flexible

● Successful multi-tasker with a collaborative team structure and open work environment

● Deep technical understanding of popular digital platforms including DSP’s, SSP’s, DMP’s, Adwords, Google Analytics, and more

● Experience training large scale sales teams on the different digital marketing platforms used within the industry

● Building, presenting, and closing platform-agnostic media plans for advertisers to reach different goals and objectives

● Analyzing reporting through different platforms to determine success and how to teach, relay, and interpret for pedestrian understanding

● Established track record of building and maintaining business professional relationships while continuing all job responsibilities
