The Account Manager is responsible for generating revenue growth from your assigned account base and territory. The team uses a consultative sales approach that works to align a customer’s problems and needs with the TrackVia value proposition and product capabilities. This job will afford success to sales professionals who are self-starters, excellent communicators, highly-organized and want to own an important part of sales within our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed quota expectations, build high quality relationships, and effectively develop, manage and close sales opportunities from your assigned accounts through inbound and outbound sales efforts
  • Identify and source expansion sales opportunities by leveraging relevant customer stories to drive customer engagement and create inspiration to solve new business problems 
  • Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT backlog roadmap to drive the TrackVia solution within their business
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team including Solution Consultants, Customer Success Managers and Professional Services to support your customers and your sales pipeline efforts
  • Align sales presentations and product demonstrations (via Solution Consultants) with customer needs
  • Identify and define customer's problems and requirements and recommend TrackVia as appropriate
  • Develop a territory and account plan to prioritize time investment across each customer
  • Conduct and participate in periodic customer business reviews that either showcase or uncover the ROI and value of TrackVia
Requirements:
  • 3+ years proven experience selling complex, enterprise software applications into business departments with an average annual deal size of at least $30k
  • Able to demonstrate deep understanding and provide examples of how you have managed a sales pipeline efficiently and effectively while using solution/consultative sales techniques over the phone and in-person
  • Proven ability to independently discover, develop, and manage customer relationships
  • Experience managing contracts, negotiating renewals, and defending against customer churn risk
  • High performer with a commitment to succeed while being eager to learn new processes, tools, tactics and strategies from your colleagues and managers
  • Energized by working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Ability to ask the questions relevant to that customer to uncover problems and needs and identify and qualify sales opportunities
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • BA or BS preferred, but not required
  • Travel required is less than 25%
Salary & Benefits:
  • The base salary for this position is $75,000, with a commission of $75,000
