The Role


GENERAL SUMMARY: 
In this role, the Renewal Operations Specialist will be responsible for administrative efforts around renewals, ensuring that Sales reps have what they need to be successful in upsell and cross-sell of renewals in a complex SaaS environment. This person will work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate timely and accurate renewal of contracts.  The role includes the review and analysis of contracts, training and supporting Sales teams, and some general account administration activities related to renewals.   The role will have responsibility for strategy and execution in large, complex deals at GHX.  In addition, this individual will be responsible for implementing process improvements in the Revenue Operations process as it relates to renewal deal strategy by employing automation and reducing manual processes.
The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, a creative, analytical mind, and adaptability to rapidly changing priorities.  Demonstrates an effective history of achieving solid results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Support the renewal process for timely and accurate renewal of contracts
•    Review system data and work with Revenue Operations teams to provide necessary materials and information for effective upsell and cross-sell of renewals
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and to develop strategies to support the renewal process
•    Analyze renewal data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
•    Maintain accurate records of renewal activities and customer interactions in Salesforce
•    Submit termination, approval form, and other requests as required on behalf of Sales representatives
•    Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
•    Support Sales as required in scoping and quoting with deal configuration in Conga CPQ in adherence to company guidelines
•    Prepare material for deal debriefs to review process improvement opportunities and assist with resolution
•    Perform other duties as assigned

•    Strong communication skills, writing in particular
•    Experienced user of MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
•    Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leaders at all levels within GHX
•    Ability to be self-directed with strong initiative

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline or a combination of education and related experience
•    5+ years of experience in contract management, renewals operations, or a similar role
•    In-depth knowledge of healthcare, providers, and suppliers 
•    Experience working with standard contract and legal documents, including but not limited to User Agreement, Statement of Work, Business Associated Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement, and Letter of Intent
•    Strong organizational and project management skills
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Experience working in a complex SaaS environment
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    MBA preferred
•    Ability to pull together complex deals or opportunities that include multiple products with a mixture of new and renewal business
•    3+ years supporting a commercial process including CPQ
•    Conga CPQ or Salesforce Revenue Cloud experience
•    Familiarity with software product and services pricing

KEY DIFFERENTIATORS 
•    Experience working on a high-performing deal desk team in a SaaS technology environment
•    Experience working with complex pricing models
