Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned sales management executive to lead the South Region field sales team of 35+ people, deliver on-key sales and operational metrics and serve as the subject matter expert for Boost Mobile distribution. The successful Regional Director, South Region will be responsible for the overall performance of assigned markets and regions including competitive strategies for field sales, organizations, and dealers. They will direct programs, optimize distribution, build planning, and allocate resources to engage and influence regional strategic partners, third-party distributors, and dealer teams.
They will provide market insights, customer/dealer feedback, competitive intelligence, and information from competitive sources to the corporate team to shape go-to-market approaches and address customer and channel needs. In this role, the Regional Director, South Region will:

  • Own and manage the sales performance and budget for assigned territory for all OKRs and KPIs.
  • Balance travel to all assigned markets to ensure sales teams are meeting responsibilities.
  • Communicate and build relationships with strategic dealer and distribution partners to align on strategy and execution efforts.
  • Develop and execute market distribution and optimization plans with a thorough understanding of competitive positioning.
  • Manage the performance of sales teams, and oversee all team member development.
  • Serve as the executive point of contact for all dealers and distributors within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled dealer business reviews and strategic planning sessions for all strategic dealer principals within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct operations reviews and one-on-ones with sales teams across the assigned territory.


Skills, Experience and Requirements
The successful Regional Director, South Region will have proven executive-level experience managing a large team and communicating with executive leadership. They will be a cultural catalyst that can inspire large teams to stay accountable and meet company objectives while keeping the teams engaged and motivated. This candidate will be a leader who uses data to drive behavior and is comfortable working cross-functionally with leaders from multiple business units across the organization to accomplish complex goals and initiatives.
Specific qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license, three years of active driving history and a successfully completed driver's safety training. Also, must comply with DISH's Driver Safety Policy and guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years of related work experience or twelve years of sales management experience.
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience at the manager level.
  • 10+ years experience in account management/support and direct or indirect sales.
  • Five or more years selling wireless products or services.
  • Five or more years of experience in contract or vendor relationships.
  • Ability to travel across assigned territory at a minimum of three weeks per month.


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $130,000.00/Year - $175,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total
compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
