We are seeking a senior leader to manage a team of product specialists focused on defining selling strategies to drive growth for Zoom phone and room global sales organization. The primary goal of the group is to create, deliver content, and amplify strategic messaging to help Account Executives win more business leading with Zoom Phone and Room solution offerings to our customers.
This role is intended to be very strategic as this team is responsible for creating and driving internal awareness of the Zoom Phone and Room offerings. Additionally, this will include creating processes to help the sales teams operate more efficiently. It will be critical that the Strategy & Enablement leader is partnering with Marketing, Sales, Engineering & Communications teams to capitalize on significant market momentum.
Directly manage team of 5+ resources
Create & Deliver on-demand training content
Conduct live in-person and virtual sales training
Participate & deliver training for new hire boot camps
Scale influence through train-the-trainer programs
Develop channel and segment specific strategy knowledge & support inquiries and follow-up on items pertaining to Zoom Phone and Rooms
Enhance solution offering internal content and effective touch points in the sales cycle (via account planning, sales pitch development, professional services, channel enablement)
Foster internal relationships to educate sales teams on the value of Zoom Phone & Room as a strategic part of the business
Continually enhance product and operational process knowledge to maintain role as a Zoom Phone and Room subject matter experts
Partner with Zoom Specialists Sales leadership to develop phone specialist, Channel & the AE sales organization.
Conduct sales specialist, channel segment & vertical team needs assessment
Participate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals
Win Stories/Best Practices - build out collateral and tools to share
Product Positioning - work cross functionally with product marketing, product management and sales teams to ensure the highest impact product positioning
Knowledge Assets management - Guru, training mediums (Workramp, new hire basecamp)
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Must understand business telephony (Cloud & Premises PBX)
8+ years of proven Sales Strategy and Enablement experience
Sales leadership experience a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Self motivated individual with the ability to work in a changing environment
Consultative seller with strong business acumen
Strong presentation skills to create succinct and engaging sales messaging, training material and supporting documents
Experience leading others with product training; sales best practices; demo and sales guides; learning and training materials.
Ability and aptitude to work within various medium to coach & develop individual sellers
Ability to evaluate complex processes and apply critical-thinking skills & develop new systems to improve workflow
Excellent skills in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google products
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative environment
Fluency in 2 or more languages a plus
Willing to travel both domestically and abroad
Have a demonstrated, proven track record of driving for results
