IntelePeer seeking a Senior Product Manager who loves to learn and wants to create big things. You will be working with our customer-facing teams to understand customer needs, and you will be working closely with development and engineering teams to create and deliver a product roadmap that addresses those needs.
This product manager will be responsible for creating a cohesive strategy and roadmap for IntelePeer's APIs, consolidating our various APIs into a single, cohesive reference and growing our library of API documentation. The ultimate objective of this role is to optimize the developer experience when building solutions with our suite of APIs.
As a key member of our product management team, the Product Manager brings an analytical mind, desire to learn, and hands-on success delivering technical products while working collaboratively across the organization. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for all product life cycle activities related to developing and launching new products and features to market.
REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President, Product Management
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate research, requirements collection, product definition, and design of APIs and supporting documentation
  • Work with product marketing and UX researcher to conduct research to drive the product roadmap
  • Empathize with the user and advocate for usability and utility of APIs and documentation
  • Build, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Operations, and Legal to ensure that all products and services are delivered to IntelePeer's standards for quality, usability, and security
  • Write requirements for new features and functionality and work with development to ensure alignment on objectives, constraints, scope and timeline for delivery
  • Gather and analyze feedback on API user experience to design and improve APIs to ensure they are intuitive to implement and clearly documented
  • Monitor key product metrics; identify, recommend, and implement strategies to improve market position
  • Develop a strategy for measuring and analyzing API usage
  • Work with technical writers and developers to create a roadmap for improvements to the API documentation reference
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • MBA or Master's degree in related field preferred
  • 5+ years delivering complex B2B solutions in a technology-driven SaaS environment, startup or telecommunications
  • 3+ years' experience in mid-market/enterprise software product management in a SaaS environment (specific to CPaaS-communication platform as a service is highly desired).
  • Prior experience managing API product strategy, roadmap, and feature/documentation development
  • Demonstrated track record of success: Driving product ideation, innovation, development, and launch using lean and/or agile product development methodologies. Meeting or beating targets and deadlines. Influencing and collaborating cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization. Establishing and managing internal and external customer expectations.
  • Proven experience conducting competitor analysis and developing successful Go to Market strategies.
  • Tools and technologies: Product and analytics tools, Jira, Salesforce.com, AI/ML/NLP experience preferred.
