How You Fit In:

As part of the Product Team of Reserve Trust you’ll play a critical role in defining, building, and growing our innovative next-generation B2B payments technology platform, crafting and executing our near- and intermediate-term strategic initiatives, and connecting our strategic planning with actual implementation. To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience performing comprehensive strategic analyses in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable conducting and incorporating quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, executing complex projects with a high degree of independence, and presenting your work to a diverse group of senior stakeholders.

 

This role reports to the Chief Product Strategy Officer and will partner and collaborate with all other company functions, ensuring the company most efficiently deploys its resources to maximize long-term results, including by leading mission critical, cross-functional projects designed to identify and execute against strategic initiatives.  

 

This role is fully remote, and you can work from anywhere in the US.

 

What You’ll Do:

·    Conduct market analyses, including segmentation and sizing, and make recommendations/proposals based on the outcomes.

·    Identify, evaluate and help implement white space opportunities (product and otherwise) in markets adjacent to those RT currently serves.

·    Work with RT stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure RT is well-positioned to deliver on its strategic objectives and meet its key KPI’s/OKR’s over various time horizons.

·    Become a thought leader / domain expert on the current and future state of RT’s industry and implications for RT strategy.

·    Develop a comprehensive understanding of RT’s value proposition for its customers (current and prospective)

·    Review and remain current on RT’s competitive landscape to understand what next-best alternatives are available to customers and how RT’s products are/can be differentiated.

·    Partner with other teams to propose pricing model recommendations.

·    Conduct research and perform analyses to facilitate data-driven decision making at RT.

·    Develop and implement robust processes for gathering and disseminating information on a regular basis.

 

 Qualifications:

·    Preferred minimum of 7+ experience in strategy consulting or investing, or a comparable role at a fast-paced, high-growth enterprise (e.g., working on highly strategic questions for a business).

·    Prior payments experience, in-house or indirect (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, regulatory, and similar related adjacencies).

·    Nice to have:

·    Prior fintech and/or high-growth technology experience

·    Prior work in a corporate strategy, strategy consulting and/or product management role

·   Experience conducting user research/voice of the customer exercises, particularly in an enterprise business context.

 

Key Competencies:

·    Eager and able to have a high degree of ownership and independence, leading to a significant influence on critical RT decisions, projects and outcomes.

·    Unusually strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure questions/solutions and to incorporate advanced qualitative and quantitative insights and analysis.

·    Comfort identifying, sourcing, and manipulating data to support decision-making and outcome tracking.

·    Previous experience collaborating and working with a diverse set of stakeholders, including internally (cross-functionally) and externally (partners, customers) to accomplish objectives.

·    Demonstrated ability to ask the right questions and use sound business judgment to ensure quality of work product

·    Passion for technology and payments, and understanding related markets, competition, trends, and dynamics.

·    Ability to perform at a high level under time constraints and willingness to contribute outside of “core role” if/as needed.

·    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $210,000–230,000. Reserve Trust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience and location.
