As a Product Manager, you will be an ESGI application expert who solves our customer’s higher level technical issues. You will investigate problems, log issues, prioritize and escalate as needed. You place a high value on customers having a great experience with ESGI. You will from time to time work directly with customers, especially during the busy season, but also work directly with developers and the sales team on bugs, maintenance, new features, and other projects. This position is 100% remote. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES): 

• Handle incoming customer requests for technical support, provide prompt and proper resolution 
• Professionally interact with our technical customers and know what technical questions to ask to identify problems or knowledge gaps
• Maintain a pulse on user feedback, ensure consumer feedback flows to the product team to drive improvements
• Perform and coordinate acceptance testing of new features, log bugs, and see through resolution
• Work closely with software developers and management to identify, prioritize, and fix customer issues, code bugs, or build new product features
• Support the launch of new features and empower teams with documentation, training, and product knowledge
• Develop troubleshooting playbooks and development procedures for the team
• Manage various development projects related to sales, customer support, and operations

WHO YOU ARE (EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):

• 3-6 yrs. of Product Management experience, ideally within consumer facing applications 
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Ability to talk in detail about previous projects that you’ve worked on and how you directly impacted the outcome
• Knowledge of application development life cycle best practices, requirements definition, testing, and/or IT systems build and design
• Comfortable reporting technical issues to developers in descriptive terms
• Experience working with technology-related products and support operations
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Previous start-up or small company experience strongly preferred 
• Ability to work from home independently in a virtual office space

COMPENSATION

Competitive compensation based on prior experience and earnings.
