As a Planner I, you will be developing your skills to plan, and schedule the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods, and related material through our production and inventory process. You'll track production activity to help ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials, troubleshoot potential scheduling problems, assist with providing solutions, and track production and material deficiencies and implementing the master production plan through the material management system to execute the program and product life cycle.
Sierra Space-based in Louisville, CO with operations in Madison, WI, Durham, NC, Huntsville, AL, Houston, TX, and Kennedy Space Center, FL-designs and manufactures the Dream Chaser spaceplane and other advanced spacecraft, commercial space destinations, satellites, propulsion and environmental systems, spacecraft subsystems and components for the U.S. government (including NASA), commercial customers, and international organizations. Must-haves:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field of study and typically 0-2 years of relevant experience
• A higher level degree may substitute for experience
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Exposure to the engineering change process
• Basic understanding of master production planning
• Familiarity with applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications

Preferred:

• Experience in Supply Chain Management and /or Operations Management
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR)
• Understanding of Unified Commercial Code (UCC)
• Prior experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and /or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$59,935.70 - $89,903.55
Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
