Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic full-time Strategic Operations Manager with excellent analytical, finance, business and people skills to help us grow and scale the business.  The Operations Manager will report to the CEO.  The ideal candidate is creative, smart, analytical, proactive, solution driven, and enjoys working hard in a nimble, fast-paced environment.  This candidate should also have a strong interest in introducing Virtual Reality (VR) to the healthcare space to save lives by improving how healthcare is delivered.

Responsibilities and Duties

●      Responsible for oversight and input to company and departmental operations, ensuring departmental metrics and KPI/OKR reporting is being tracked and maintained

●      Lead sales operations activities

●      Provide an operational lens to all functional departments (Sales, Client success, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance, etc.)

●      Managing and maintaining Health Scholars pricing models

  • Support overall strategic pricing objectives (new product pricing, packaging, segmentation, etc.) and other initiatives to drive profitable growth
  • Produce regular and ad hoc pricing and other financial analyses, reporting and presentations as required by company to present to senior management, board meetings and investor calls
  • Work closely with CFO and other functional areas to understand and track elements of Health Scholars cost structure as basis for pricing proposals

●      Support board meeting preparation and execution

  • Responsible for preparing analysis, reporting and presentations for board meetings and investor calls

●      Providing valuable input to company strategy and direction

●      Contract review and oversight

●      Responsible for development of new business case evaluations for strategic sales opportunities and/or new business model opportunities, including driving cross-functional input as needed

●      Assist with various cross-functional and general operational support, including but not limited to vendor management

●    Inventory Management – Oculas headsets and other hardware required for demo and customer implementations

●    Procurement

●      Various other projects and analyses as needed.

 

Qualifications

●      3-5 years of experience in operations, pricing, finance, sales operations, or a related function.

●      Prior healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.

●      Understanding of corporate finance and venture capital preferred.

●      Understanding of EOS/Traction a plus.

●      You have a growth mindset

●      You enjoy being a strategic partner across the organization and being an utility player who can learn quickly and product across different functional areas

●      Experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) including MS Office.

●      Advanced Expertise with Microsoft Excel including an ability to build financial models and analysis.

●      Ability to perform work tasks with speed, precision and attention to detail.

●      Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, communication and performance.

●      Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.

●      Ability to work under pressure and in high stress situations.

●      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

●      Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.

●      Organizational and process-driven mindset.

●      Bachelor’s Degree or higher desired. MBA preferred.
