Why You Matter

Carbon Black is continuing to build out our office locations worldwide. We are looking for a seasoned IT generalist to be located in our Boulder, CO office. The ideal candidate is someone who can operate both independently and as part of the larger IT team to deliver exceptional employee service in our Boulder Office.

What You'll Do:

  • Receiving, Tracking and Triage of Tickets
  • Telephone and in person Tier I & II Support for Local and Remote Users
  • Escalate issues to Tier III Support in a timely fashion
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Desktop, Laptop imaging and setup for Windows, Mac
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
  • Evaluate and Recommend changes to existing process and procedures.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new software and technology.
  • Software installation and configuration
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Desktop/Laptop System and Software Issues
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Remote Connectivity Issues
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages
  • Ability to provide remote hands for installation and integration of local hardware
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Help maintain IT Operational standard compliance for remote office
  • Occasional travel to other Carbon Black offices as necessary

What You'll Bring

You are quality focused, process and results oriented, and resourceful. A strong problem-solver, you're self-driven and interested in continuous improvement and learning.

  • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
  • 5-10 years IT experience
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in an IT role supporting a remote office location
  • Experience supporting networks, phones, end users
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms including Windows, Mac, & Linux
  • Familiarity with physical security systems
  • Ability to triage the incoming ticket queue
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Customer service mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and polished communication skills
