Security Risk Analyst
The Security Risk Analyst will work cross-functionally across departments to perform and improve Ibotta's security posture. This includes the planning, implementation, management, and execution of security processes, documentation, and analytics. The ideal candidate is a curious problem solver, with excellent written communication skills.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Create security policy in alignment with NIST and other compliance / control frameworks as necessary
- Conduct data-centric risk assessments
- Document gaps in security policy and function
- Familiarity with quantitative risk assessment methodologies such as FAIR
- Incorporate threat intelligence into Ibotta’s security operations center
- Administer key components of our security awareness program
- Guide information security governance
- Lead and participate in incident response
- Analyze and review event logs
- Train others on InfoSec procedures
- Act as primary IT contact for audits
- Coordinate with other members of IT, Legal, and Technology to ensure consistency and standardization
- Act as subject matter expert for information and cyber security
Here's what we're looking for:
- 5+ years of progressive information technology experience
- 3+ years of IT security experience
- Experience with enterprise logging (Splunk)
- Deep knowledge of NIST
- Familiarity with the CIS control framework
- Familiarity with PCI DSS
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds and best practices
- Knowledge of Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Knowledge of AWS security principles
- Familiarity with Kanban/Agile project management
- Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
- Willingness to work in a fast paced and hands-on environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- CompTIA CySA+ or CSA+ certification
- CISM or CISSP certification
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
