The Role: 

This role is based in Boulder HQ and reports to the President – Americas. This role is responsible for managing the relationship with and performance of PopSockets’ 3PL partner in Tijuana, Mexico. Works cross-functionally with sales, operations, customer service, and finance.


Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for holding 3PL partner accountable for on-time and accurate fulfillment practices, adherence to routing guides, and maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Act as key decision-maker in fire-drill situations and enable quick-turn opportunities
  • Monitor and approve weekly invoicing from 3PL, tracking cost per unit progressions (and root causes) and validating charge accuracy
  • Understand and investigate 3PL KPIs for monthly metrics presentations
  • Coordinate process improvements and cutover execution on WMS project in conjunction with 3PL, IT, Supply Chain, and Sales teams
  • Provide 3PL with information needed to execute daily operations and overall PopSockets initiatives, including frequent forecast updates, product updates, system changes, etc.
  • Work with B2B and DTC sales teams to track forecast accuracy and make updates based on trends and customer demand changes
  • Partner with customer service and sales teams to ensure accurate communication to customers on SLAs, product shortages, closure dates, and business interruptions at the 3PL
  • Work with Director of Logistics and 3PL on improving carrier SLAs to improve customer experience, both domestically and to Canada
  • Manage end-of-life process alongside merchandising, operations, sales, and finance teams to solidify working process for SKU reduction and ongoing maintenance
  • Oversee chargeback mitigation project, coordinating with sales, finance, and 3PL on root causes and corrective actions for future chargeback prevention
  • Support cost-down and automation opportunities at 3PL, working with engineering team and 3PL to onboard machinery and schedule ramp-up
  • Regularly visit 3PL partner (post-pandemic) to check in on warehouse and process improvements, organizational strategy, and opportunities


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong Excel competencies (Advanced preferred)
  • 5+ years experience working in fulfillment/3PL management

Salary 70-80k
