Job Description - Office Manager

Devetry is looking for a talented Office Manager to run the day-to-day operations, providing support for all employees and performing administrative duties to keep the office running effectively and efficiently. We’re looking for someone to champion and enhance our company culture. The ideal candidate has an energetic and ambitious attitude and is passionate about people, processes and details. This position requires experience balancing multiple tasks and shift priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment. The Office Manager candidate is flexible, works independently, and is eager to bring and implement new ideas to improve our internal operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support onboarding new hires including benefits enrollment and setting up workstations

  • Work with building management on facilities related issues and requests

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments for executives

  • Provide general support to visitors

  • Track office expenses, analyze operational costs, and provide recommendations

  • Audit company vendor invoices and negotiate pricing and service contracts

  • Run payroll and manage client invoices

  • Manage office inventory and responsible for all ordering including food and catering, IT, supplies, office furniture, etc.

  • Proactively tidy up the office space and keep it well organized

  • Coordinate travel requests from the management team

  • Promote an office culture that’s fun by planning company social events, quarterly meetings, etc.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ultimate team player with strong people skills

  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities and/or administrative experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Proactively anticipate and address organizational needs and recommends solutions

  • Thrives in a start-up culture and works independently

  • Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced Excel user

  • BA/BS degree
