Overview

Four Winds Interactive is seeking a Manager of Endpoint Automation to lead our customer facing IT Managed Services Team. This position will be integral to the remote monitoring & management of global client infrastructure while providing timely response within designated SLA times to service effecting faults and performance issues. The Manager will work closely with the FWI Tech Support team to diagnose & characterize issues that require their interaction with the customer and to take responsibility for the use of NOC tools to aide with Tech Support troubleshooting and technical escalations. This is a management position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Roll out/Develop new business and technology processes.
  • Research new technology that can be leveraged in the production environment.
  • Management Duties (Timecard, PTO, expenses, etc.).
  • Windows Server Administration.
  • Engineering automation solutions for windows systems.
  • Configuration and implementation of monitoring solutions.
  • Maintain Production Database.
  • Technical Documentation.
  • Drive team vision.
  • Discover and implement new Systems/Tools.
  • Cultivate a productive and high functioning technical team.
  • Plan for long term solutions and scalability.
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem solving.

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • 5+ years’ experience in technical environment, supporting remote environments.
  • 3+ years management experience.
  • Advanced Immediate Team Management.
  • Must work well with other departments.
  • Must be able to clearly articulate department vision.

Helpful for Success:

  • Advanced Windows Troubleshooting.
  • Strong Networking understanding.
  • Strong Hardware experience/Knowledge of how to solve HW failures and technical issues using automation.
  • Sales Force - advanced user, creating reports, dashboards, and pulling large amounts of data for analytics.
  • Strong technical understanding of Android Operating system.
  • AWS/Windows Server 2012 Experience - Working in cloud environment, strong AWS understanding of infrastructure.
  • Advanced level of PowerShell/Batch/VB etc. scripting used in a production environment.
  • RS232 Knowledge to create custom RS-232 solutions from scratch.
  • MySQL/MariaDB experience a must - Creating stored procedures, writing query's from scratch, creating tables and views to be used in a production environment.
  • Admin level Connectwise Automate and/or Datto experience - Managing a 24/7/365 production environment that provides clean and efficient customer facing solutions to detected issues.
  • FWI Software experience.
  • Strong understanding of IoT devices.
