JOB SUMMARY:

Provide hardware and software support as well as assistance to the organization. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to integrate with software development teams to test, maintain, and work on development tasks depending on the interests of the candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide in-person and over-the-phone technical support, troubleshoot and repair issues related to software, hardware, email, network access, etc.
  • Performs moves, adds, changes, and maintenance activities for desktop/laptop computers, telephones, and peripherals
  • Installs new equipment and software for users as well as the replacement of end of life and non-functioning equipment 
  • Document support interactions with users, including details and steps performed to resolve issues
  • Educates and train users with computer and software operations, peripherals, network usage, and best practices
  • Create support procedures, technical reports and update existing process documentation
  • Assist with the administration of the computer network, databases, VPN, phone system, email, and servers
  • Maintain software and hardware library, and assist with all software licensing compliance
  • Assists with the development, implementation, and maintenance of network file server backups and disaster recovery procedures
  • Maintain and monitor network antivirus and malware software
  • Assist with company initiatives and projects on an as needed basis within the IT Department

 

GENERAL:

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Recommend necessary updates and revisions to USADA protocol and procedures as related to Information
  • Technology Projects and other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS / BA degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers   
  • Ability to multitask and to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  
  • Able to perform in a diverse team environment
  • Able to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Proficiency in MS Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience
  • Ability to view challenges and change as an opportunity to learn new technologies, concepts and ideas
  • Ability to consistently adapt to new situations
  • Work experience in athletics or sports
