The IT Business System Analyst for Finance is responsible for optimizing key Marketo Accounting and Finance business processes to support rapid growth. This position is based in downtown Denver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with business stakeholders to gather and document business needs
• Writing Business Requirements Document
• Ensure that the solution designs meet requirements and are designed to scale geographically and for volume
• Translating business requirements to system functional design.
• Leading the implementation of the solution, support user acceptance testing and provide functional support to users
• Maintaining the integrity of application to application integrations
• Ensuring that "in-scope" applications comply with IT General Controls and SOX Controls
• Communicating with Finance leadership regarding projects and priorities
• Providing Production Support for finance apps as necessary to support users and close the books
• Assisting with 3rd Party Vendor selection
• Reviewing and testing new SaaS releases and as part of ongoing upgrade cycle
• 10-25% travel between Marketo locations

Key Skills/Experience

• Understanding of application footprint in Finance including Procure to Pay, Quote to Cash, Record to Report, & Revenue Recognition
• Understanding of integrations between finance and boundary systems, data flows and types of technologies used in these integrations
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Billing & Accounting, Payments, Purchasing, Tax, and Close Process
• Good understanding of Revenue Recognition Process
• Experience in Revenue management based on ASC 606 revenue regulation is desirable
• Able to plan and execute effective system change

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to summarize and present findings or challenges to all levels of staff and management

• Experience with cloud-based Finance apps such as Intacct, Coupa and Concur is a plus

Requirements

• BA or equivalent in MIS, Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes
• 3+ years' experience with the functional design and configuration of Finance Systems
• Experience in integration between Intacct and Salesforce is desirable
• Knowledge of US GAAP and other international accounting standards is a plus
