Housecall Pro is looking for an experienced, motivated and highly-collaborative Helpdesk Technician to be a key contributor to a new enterprise level help desk operation.  The help desk team will provide outstanding support for our organization and will be the go-to team when it comes to work-from-home and in-office technology. As a technician, you will support a hybrid Mac and Windows environment, mobile devices, printers, telephony, network support, inventory management, on and off boarding, and training. You’re also a local IT point of contact on the ground who will build and maintain great relationships with our business partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer inventory management processes, including purchasing, receiving and configuration of laptops
  • Provide in-person and remote support to our global staff.
  • Support video conferencing technology, A/V equipment, printers and mobile devices
  • Administer a variety of SaaS applications including but not limited to: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack and Zoom
  • Support our bi-weekly new hire classes including onboarding efforts, training, documentation, and ensuring that all new hires are setup for success on day one with the correct hardware and access
  • Create, update, and maintain knowledge base articles in our knowledge management system (Confluence)
  • Strive to resolve all interactions at the first point of contact, whenever possible while proactively balancing competing demands
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Identify potential user issues as larger system or company-wide incidents
  • Participate in on-call rotation, and share in off-hours maintenance work

About You:

  • You have experience in Mac and Windows technical support (2+ years)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Experience working in a company with a high focus on security and compliance while having an ability to translate those requirements into a positive customer experience.
  • Familiarity with administering SaaS tools (at a minimum Google Workspaces, Slack and Zoom)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira)
  • Experience with desktop configuration management solutions (Jamf)


Compensation: Minimum $40k base salary; Annual Bonus Potential + Equity

Location

We are actively hiring in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO. Majority of our employees work remotely but we have an office in the RINO district if employees choose to come in.
