Alteryx is searching for an Escalations Operations Manager based in our Broomfield, CO office. This position is remote-friendly.

Responsibilities:

Own and drive initiatives in support and the escalation team. This role will help be the driving force in established projects and communicating with the rest of the support organization on progress and visibility to issues, concerns etc. This person will be a decision maker in the meetings as it relates to the escalation team, evaluating impact to the team, to support or to other organizations and helping minimize risk where appropriate. This is a role that will be coordinating and partnering with multiple teams within the company in order to reach the goals.

Additionally, this role will play a part in technical discussions related to the projects, ensuring appropriate evaluation has been done and the best solutions for Alteryx and customers has been reached. This person will need to understand the impacts of the tradeoffs and be able to stand ground on issues that could lead to sub-optimal outcomes.

What You Will Do Day-to-day

  • Lead the delivery of strategic programs that involve multiple concurrent work streams and rely on cross-functional teams to complete.
  • Build relationships with executive / senior leadership and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Build cross functional relationships and partnerships across the enterprise to develop requirements and strategic planning.
  • Develop roadmaps and timelines to drive action and set realistic expectations.
  • Conduct project post-mortems to review results and obtain feedback to apply to future projects.
  • Evaluate and assist with scoping important projects and provide a strategic insights and direction to our project partners and stakeholders.
  • Empower, enable, and mentor members of the organization to grow and contribute as owners of team initiatives, processes, and programs.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as needed to drive program success.

What You Need To Succeed

  • 4 year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years functional experience including at least 3 years of project management experience, either directly or as a responsibility of another role and 5 years of Customer Success, Support, Operations, or Enablement experience.
  • Experience and ability to lead cross functional and collaborative teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including road mapping and tracking actions, risks, issues, and decisions. Attention to detail is critical.
  • A track record of building strategic relationships with the ability to manage across broad geographies and lead through influence.
  • Proven ability to move fast in an ambiguous environment without close supervision.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability of results in an end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • A talent for communicating complicated technical concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling way to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience in both creating and presenting technical content including, but not limited to the following formats: presentations, business requirements, GTM strategy. Highly Valued Additional Skills
  • Knowledge of Alteryx Designer and Server products
  • Experience with Smartsheets, Microsoft Tasks, Confluence or other work management tool

Compensation

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $101,700-$172,900. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
