Environmental Commodity Manager

About the Role
The Environmental Commodity Manager will work closely with the VP of Business Development to formally document and monetize the emissions reduction from deployment of Digital Flare Mitigation technology. The Environmental commodity Manager will have a high-impact, revenue-generating role which will require cross-functional collaboration and a comprehensive understanding of Crusoe’s operations. Relevant experience would provide a background understanding of the environmental commodity markets (both voluntary and compliance credits and methodologies). Experience developing emissions reduction project PDD’s and navigating the independent validation/verification process strongly preferred.
Job Description
• Determine most applicable and impactful environmental commodities and to pursue for existing Digital Flare Mitigation projects
• Evaluate business development pipeline for most effective approach to validation and monetization of Crusoe’s emissions reduction impact. Present viability to leadership which could impact deal economics and general attractiveness
• Identify, negotiate and establish most favorable commercial structures and partners to pursue joint development and sale of environmental commodities
• Gain a detailed understanding of Crusoe’s operations in order to manage simultaneous project development processes in pursuit of environmental commodities across a large portfolio of projects
• After completion of initial project development, oversee project validation through verification phases while establishing and executing a cross-functional project monitoring plan
• Identify new opportunities to generate environmental commodity revenue through leveraging Crusoe’s core competencies in new applications

Requirements
• B.S. in Environmental Science, Masters preferred
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Portfolio of verified emissions reduction projects
• Extensive knowledge of CDM and alternative methodologies

Salary range: $95 – $120k
