Ensuring our customers are mitigating risk is one of the top priorities of Checkr. A crucial part of this is ensuring our customers are operating within the parameters of not only Federal regulations, but State and Local laws as well. The Customer Compliance Program Manager will use their project management skills to scope, plan, and manage new and revisited programs in order to minimize Checkr business risk, and provide oversight into customers' end user responsibilities as dictated by federal, local, state regulations as well as contractual requirements. The position involves partnering cross-functionally across the Checkr Organization, including our Product & Engineering, Legal, Customer Success, and other teams on an ad hoc basis to ensure programs launch and are run successfully. A successful candidate will have a proven history of managing projects and programs, as well as experience in providing metrics and results around their projects and programs on an ongoing basis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Scope, Plan, and Manage compliance projects and programs from conception through launch and maintain them on a scalable, ongoing basis. 
  • Own Ad Hoc Customer Communications to provide real-time updates on compliance-related issues
  • Partner with Legal Counsel to ensure programs are updated with new compliance regulations in a timely manner
  • Strategically partner with teams like Product, Engineering, Customer Success and others to ensure timely delivery of projects and programs, ensuring a delightful customer experience, even when difficult situations arise
  • Manage or Assist with ad hoc programs and projects as needed, i.e. ad hoc regulatory audits, internal compliance changes, FTC Inquiries, ets

What you bring:

  • 2+ years Program or Project Management experience and 6-8 years cumulative professional experience
  • Experience in Standardizing and Scaling processes and procedures
  • Track record of mastering new systems and processes quickly
  • Impeccable eye for detail
  • Ability to stay on task and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • A desire to innovate and improve the Customer Experience
  • SQL and Excel Proficiency a plus
  • Legal or Background Check Industry Background a plus
  • Compliance, and/or Education Background also a plus

*The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.  In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within Colorado is $51,000-$60,000.
