Do you want to play a role in global commerce?

As the Construction Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead the facilitation efforts of the Design Optimization process and oversee the advanced cost and schedule analytics of the Construction projects. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment on current and future development opportunities.

 

What’s needed in order to do that:

  • Coordinate, schedule and facilitate Design review and optimization workshops in collaboration with Prologis Development Managers throughout the Americas.
  • Capture, evaluate and catalog design optimization ideas surfaced during design reviews for viability and deployment on current and future projects located throughout North and South America.
  • Promote and track identified optimization opportunities on active projects for the purpose of reporting captured value to Senior Management.
  • Analyze and report on trending design optimization ideas for review and incorporation into  Prologis standard building and TI specifications.
  • Research and support design and construction innovations and value engineering opportunities that will enhance and future-proof Prologis’ developments without compromising functionality or life cycle costs.
  • Provide analytic and data collection support for material unit costs and detailed project productivity information
  • Understand and embrace the customer-oriented culture of Prologis

 

Tell us if you’re ready.

  • 5 years of professional experience in design and construction of vertical building projects. Experience in Design/Build project delivery methodology is beneficial but not required.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and BIM 360 is desirable
  • Be proactive in approaching solutions and problem solving
  • Willing to explore related responsibilities in support of construction efficiencies and project excellence for the Prologis global construction platform
  • Be able to travel up to 50% of the time
