Social Media/Digital Marketing Coordinator
Job Description:
AspenCore Media, the industry leader in Electronics Engineering and Technology editorial, is seeking a Social Media/Digital Marketing Coordinator to develop and grow our platform channels. This is a high-impact, client-facing role within our Audience Development department. The ideal candidate is a social media specialist who also understands programmatic advertising and full-stack digital marketing. You will work with clients to develop strategies that meet or exceed their goals. It will be your responsibility to continually monitor and optimize those strategies and make recommendations to ensure goals are met.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and manage our paid and organic social media strategies
- Interact with clients to propose, deploy and optimize their social media campaigns
- Work with editors, audience development and content developers to ensure social media presence is tied to all external-facing content that is published
- Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising
- Define social media KPIs and work towards constantly improving those metrics
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Create and deploy paid brand advertising efforts across channels
- Work with counterparts in other business units to track and improve conversion attribution
- Track analytics data and report out metrics for all paid social media campaigns
- Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Suggest and implement new tactics or tools to optimize social media presence
- Use schedule and marketing tools such as Buffer, Sprout, etc. to organize and publish content
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert to educate internal stakeholders
- Lead and implement paid search/programmatic campaigns as necessary
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in client-facing social media or digital marketing role
- Experience leveraging full-stack marketing tools to drive brand awareness, engagement, demand and lead generation
- Advanced knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media best practices
- Familiarity with paid/programmatic advertising across social media, google platforms, etc.
- Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, paid social and Google Analytics platform
- Proven success in developing, testing and deploying marketing campaigns with the ability to execute quick iterations to test theories and designs, using experience, analytics and data for decision-making
- Execution and communication are must-have skills to be successful in this role
- Good understanding of social media KPIs and how they impact our business
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills with excellent time-management
- BA in Marketing or similar field required; experience or education within Data Analysis also preferred
