More about Homebot

Problem we’re solving:

The US homeownership market is the largest asset class in the world at $30 trillion but is essentially an “unmanaged” asset that causes people to leave billions of dollars on the table every year. At the same time, loan officers and real estate agents spent $20 billion a year on desperate attempts to maintain mindshare and loyalty with their past clients in hopes of gaining more repeat and referral business.

Our solution:

Homebot is a client-for-life portal that maximizes repeat and referral business for lenders by empowering consumers to build wealth through homeownership. The award-winning client portal delivers personalized, actionable intelligence throughout the entire homeownership lifecycle to every client and prospect. With an average 50% monthly engagement rate, Homebot ensures lenders and agents remain the trusted advisors that consumers rely on to make informed decisions about the largest asset they may ever own, their home.

It’s definitely a game-changer and we are truly making an impact. Having launched in 2016, we're over 100 Homebotters strong and expect to continue that growth throughout the year. Join us!

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Our generous PTO policy, mental health days, & quarterly wellness activities really make the pursuit of “work-life balance” achievable. One of our values, “courageously authentic”, is shown by celebrating the team for being who we are and honoring everyone’s unique ways of working together for the good of everyone. Homebot is a great place to work!

What projects are you most excited about?

I’m really excited to be working on an upcoming project to increase our coverage of home listings on our platform. I’m grateful for the opportunity to not only provide a major value to our customers, but also tackle some interesting technical implementation challenges along the way.

Kayla

Full Stack Engineer

How does the company support your career growth?

Since starting at Homebot my career has grown in many ways. In the time I’ve been here, I've always been encouraged to set goals and having leaders that take those goals seriously means the world. I've been given the support to learn new skills that make those goals attainable. I'm glad to be in an environment that allows so much growth.

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

One of our resonating and living values of our organization is “ We Challenge Limiting Beliefs” Peeling back the onion a bit, we provide our Home-Botters a true entrepreneurial and autonomous environment to blaze trails, take risk and to act boldly by embracing the uncomfortable and being transparent, humble and flat in our hierarchy.

Jeff

VP, Enterprise Sales

What kinds of technical challenges do you and your team face?

We work within the real estate space so we encounter an exorbitant amount of data that needs to be processed such as home valuations, loan data, and parsing user inputted addresses. Efficiently taking an address and turn that into our final product takes a many steps with failure cases along the way can create a tough challenge!

Software Engineer
