Why this role?

As Senior Marketing Manager - Digital Marketing you'll service all paid digital media functions and oversee testing and growth into non-digital advertising channels where applicable. You will lead a team managing awareness, consideration, and conversion-focused digital media programs and platforms including paid search, paid social, display/programmatic, aggregator, mobile app and others for B2B and B2C campaigns. You will utilize key quantitative and qualitative insights to recommend growth marketing strategies.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing B2B and B2C digital media strategy, budget allocation, and media plans to ensure allocation of media dollars is commensurate with key insights and optimal performance
  • Leading a team that is responsible for managing paid digital media programs and in-house and oversee implementation of digital media strategy through to execution
  • Owning and maintaining paid digital media plans, performance projections, and testing plans
  • Exploring and recommending new/emerging online and offline media channels for testing with a data-driven approach
  • Driving engagement and growing new client leads (including marketing-qualified leads) by understanding the differences in performance by media channel and testing new channels for growth
  • Supporting digital media measurement strategy across Search, Social, Mobile App, and Display media environments with an understanding of Digital Media Attribution
  • Partnering with in-house Creative Team to generate full-funnel creative executions, manage timelines for creative refreshes, and drive data-driven creative iterations
  • Partnering with Digital Analytics & Conversion-Rate-Optimization Team to craft strategic testing plans as well as measure and iterate on results regularly
  • Partnering with cross-functional Marketing teams to align the digital and SEO strategies with target audiences and client/consumer needs, brand positioning, revenue goals, and support integrated Marketing campaigns
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams, such as Product and Technology, to communicate digital media results, align on key priorities for the Product roadmap that support digital growth, and prioritize Marketing Tech needs
  • Communicating and presenting digital media approaches to the greater organization
  • Leveraging the use of marketing analytics to provide insights and make recommendations to reach the consumer in new ways to improve marketing ROI and drive growth
  • Creating an empowered and motivating environment that supports the ongoing training and development of our digital media team.

For this role, we're requiring:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Track record of driving the strategy behind and cadence of full-funnel creative executions paired with Digital Media strategy/tactics
  • Advanced working knowledge of analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • Advanced working knowledge of digital media ad serving platforms (e.g. Google Campaign Manager, SA360, Kenshoo, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Marketing Attribution platforms and their output/functionality (e.g. Visual IQ, Campaign Manager Attribution)
  • Experience and demonstrated capability making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance within established constraints
  • Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills to clearly articulate ideas, frame problems and offer solutions. Strong leadership track record with ability to work effectively with executive leadership team
  • Balanced strategic and tactical thinker with strong presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and budget management skills, and understanding of ROI analysis
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with demonstrated experience collaborating and working with key stakeholders in Product, Sales, Technology, Finance, Data Science, and other Marketing teams
  • Strong presentation skills
  • High level of independence, initiative, curiosity, and collaboration.

Education, Experience

  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years' digital marketing experience, with expertise in both B2B and B2C business goals
  • 2+ years of experience focused on B2B Marketing/Advertising tactics preferred
  • 3+ years of experience independently managing digital media platforms such as Google/Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and/or self-serve DSP.

Compensation

Base salary/pay of $90,000 – $195,000 per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
