Position Summary:

Druva is seeking a super smart and passionate Sr. Customer Marketing Manager to build out our existing customer advocacy program. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic upsell, retention, and advocacy programs to drive overall customer engagement and loyalty. You will be at ease building meaningful relationships with our customers, finding ways to engage with them strategically via events, campaigns, customer reference programs, sales collateral, digital content, press and analyst engagements, and advocacy. You’ll partner with Sales, Customer Success, across Marketing and other departments on assets/content and share insight to help Druva land new customers – the top priority for our rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute strategy and processes to build and manage an ongoing pipeline of customers to engage in customer advocacy activities.
  • Develop unique and creative ways to recruit, engage, and reward advocates at scale
  • Bring customer stories to life via reviews, testimonials, fireside chats, videos and more
  • Build a robust Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and associated programs from scratch
  • Work with customers to develop blogs, case studies, testimonial videos, and more to build awareness and clearly articulate the value of Druva through the eyes of our customers.
  • Recruit customer speakers to support press opportunities, webinars, local field events, and our annual conference, DxP.
  • Supply customer quotes, value metrics, and other details to support sales engagements, marketing campaigns, product launches, and other activities.
  • Drive workstreams to recruit for G2, Gartner Peer Insights, and TrustRadius customer reviews

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years working on or leading a customer advocacy program in the enterprise software space; strong preference for technical enterprise software platforms, like data protection or security
  • Proven experience with developing a strong network and pipeline of advocates as well as associated assets
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of examples that clearly describe customer value
  • Ability to manage multiple short- and medium-term programs at once
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic, and a solutions-focused marketing leader driven to deliver result
  • You have strong program management skills, acute attention to detail and the ability to structure and prioritize work in a manner that best fits the team and company needs
  • You enjoy storytelling and thrive in an environment where you can tell compelling narratives to customers and sales to inspire them to engage with Druva
  • Able to identify roadblocks and work with leadership to clear them
  • Proactive in your communication style and love cross-functional collaboration and program management
