Product Marketing Manager
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in influencing the product roadmap, defining product adoption strategies, and nurturing the long term success of new products and features. This role requires creating marketing plans for each phase of product development to drive rapid growth and wide scale adoption. The ideal candidate will have the right balance between being a highly analytical problem solver and a creative, and out of the box thinker, as well as demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple projects. We’re excited about product marketers who have a strong results orientation, aren’t afraid to work autonomously and will work cross-functionally across multiple departments to make things happen. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Business Development, Research & Insights, and Analytics.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build the go-to-market strategy and lead the product launch, ensuring we have the right B2C mix of content and channels to drive awareness and engagement
- Drive ongoing B2B and B2C adoption through biz dev, sales and marketing support
- Work with Research & Insights to develop impactful insights to inform GTM strategy
- Deliver relevant recommendations to Product and Marketing to grow product adoption
- Facilitate communication and coordination regarding marketing programs and product development between the Technology and Marketing teams
- Evaluate product feature and marketing program impact on product adoption using relevant metrics and user feedback. Work closely with Analytics to build testing plans to optimize campaigns and improve funnel performance.
- Collaborate with cross functional partners to fix what isn’t working and test new approaches
- Know the B2B buyer by partnering closely with sales and understanding their needs
- Know the consumer user by partnering with care, analyzing user behavior metrics, tracking consumer trends, and hearing their POV directly
- Stay on top of cutting edge product adoption tactics and the competitive landscape for your products to advocate for the optimal user experience, feature set, and growth marketing approaches
- Interpret complex qualitative and quantitative market research to drive strategy
What We’re Looking For
- Self-directed, self-motivated, strong organization skills and attention to detail
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Some experience working in Product Marketing or extensive Digital Marketing or Product Management experience
- Creative approach to problem-solving and implementing ideas
- Innovative mindset to create programs using a variety of marketing tactics to drive adoption
- Analytical skills to interpret the data and report on campaign performance (Excel, Google Analytics, custom dashboards)
- Strength in navigating complex projects, especially adapting and pivoting priorities based on strategic updates, coupled with an ability to improve process and simplify complex concepts
- Ability to understand technical details and bridge the gap between Marketing and Product or Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
