Who you are:

Brightwheel is seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on marketer who will lead customer marketing and product marketing. The ideal candidate will combine customer obsession, elite cross-functional collaboration, and full-stack marketing expertise, and will be able to channel these to build the brightwheel brand, fuel awareness and adoption of our solution, and delight our customers. All brightwheel team members must demonstrate strengths in our core values: Ownership, Empathy, Learning & Results.

What you'll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our target market through customer research and data, and embed these insights across the organization to better serve our customer and achieve company goals
  • Own platform and product positioning and messaging for brightwheel
  • Arm our Sales and Customer Success teams with enablement tools and materials to effectively deliver brightwheel’s value proposition to customers and prospects
  • Partner with Customer Success to drive adoption of key product features and enable customers to get the most out of the brightwheel platform
  • Collaborate with Product to launch new products and ensure our products and innovation are clearly understood among prospects and customers
  • Increase customer delight and advocacy through engagement and nurture programs
  • Serve as mentor and leader for team members, enabling them to do the best work of their lives

  Qualifications, Skills, Abilities:

  •  8+ years of experience in marketing, with 3+ years in product marketing or brand management
  • Extraordinary communicator and storyteller
  • Super-strength in critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Proven track record in building rock-solid partnerships with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams
  • Combination of strategic thinking and ability to roll up sleeves and build from scratch
  • Curiosity, creativity, and drive to make the impossible happen
  • Savviness with customer research (quant & qual) and turning consumer insights into action
  • Master prioritizer with ability to find the 20% of effort that drives 80% impact
  • Experience with and passion for people management
