We’re seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. This role includes managing our day-to-day operations, owning the strategy and execution for key marketing channels, and serving as point of contact for key industry partners like Google, Verisign, and GoDaddy. You’ll report directly to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, and also work closely with the Sr. Director, Marketing.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for Name.com’s industry partners, including registry partners (GoDaddy Registry, PIR, Verisign) and product partners (Google, DigitalOcean, Digicert).
Negotiate contracts and secure co-marketing funds
Manage contract requirements and deadlines
Create blog posts, emails, social media, landing page content, and any other contractual requirements.
Track and submit rebates
Plan and execute Name.com sales and promotions, including:
Manage promo code creation and reporting
Coordinate with Name.com operations and finance team on price changes
Communicate sales and promotions to internal team
Manage marketing efforts for sales and promotions, including on-site placement, email, and social media
Serve as Marketing Team’s point of contact with customer support, working to resolve immediate issues that involve marketing team and collaborating on knowledge base.
Write and revise a selection of retail and technical copy across Name.com, including landing pages, product flows, and management pages, striking a balance between SEO best practices and brand voice.
Manage ongoing site translation
Identify opportunity areas for translation
Keep translated pages up to date
Work with translators to answer questions and provide context about incoming content.
Manage Name.com’s email marketing calendar, including
Newsletters
Recurring sales/promo codes
Partnerships with domain registries
Manage Name.com’s social media presence, with a primary focus on communicating Name.com news, promotions, and product launches.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Displays strong initiative, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and partners, and work cross-functionally across internal teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain momentum, and meet deadlines for multiple projects
Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills that influence future content development decisions
Adept at maintaining brand voice while also breaking down complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand copy
Copywriting experience
Name.com offers a highly competitive compensation package (the salary range for this position is $75,000-90,000) and a fun, friendly and collaborative culture that values employee engagement and ongoing career development.
