What is this opportunity?

Marketing and Communications Senior Manager

Dice is seeking a Marketing and Communications Senior Manager to drive Dice marketing and public relations strategy and outreach. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing professional with a concentration in public relations. The incumbent will have a proven track record of creating branded messaging that is leveraged in multiple channels, including securing positive, impactful media coverage. This professional is a thought leader as well as a natural collaborator when working with internal and external partners and teams. The Marketing and Communications Senior Manager has primary oversight for responsibilities surrounding the development and execution of impactful and scalable media relations strategies and programs that effectively support brand objectives.

More specifically, this senior manager will:

·         Shape Dice’s brand through messaging, strategic storytelling, media placement and partnerships

·         Develop and execute proactive and holistic, branded, publicity opportunities, including trend, research and product launches

·         Develop messaging, outreach strategy, branding, and positioning for all external communications around company news, research and product launches

·         Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and other influential professionals and partners to maximize brand presence in various channels

·         Arrange interviews and press events to promote Dice and its products in the media

·         Support Dice’s spokesperson through ghostwriting, exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills 

·         Secure feature articles and press coverage, and place our customers in major publications and relevant channels

·         Have strong understanding of recruitment industry, tech, national publications, and their coverage tactics; identify creative ways to engage with influencers, proactively pitch product news, customer stories, and thought leadership to maintain constant flow of coverage

·         Collaborate on strategy and messaging with cross-functional teams including Executive Leadership, Marketing, Product, Technology, Sales, Data, and Corporate Communications

·         Work with 3rd party agencies on various projects and lead execution on project plans

·         Manage, analyze, optimize and report on performance of programs

·         Support of marketing and branding efforts as assigned

What are we requiring for this role?

·         Minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience with concentration in public relations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·         Experience and demonstrated success developing a brand communications strategy that resonates with internal stakeholders and external media and other partners

·         Experience developing and tracking marketing and public relations programs that align with, amplify, and accelerate marketing campaigns

·         Experience with public relations and marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and strengthen image

·         Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

·         Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating with key stakeholders in including Executive Leadership, Marketing, Product, Technology, Sales, Data, and Corporate Communications

·         Must be both strategic and detail-oriented and can work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision

·         High level of independence, problem-solving, initiative, courage, and curiosity

 What do we prefer for this role?

·         Experience developing company marketing and public relations efforts for a two-sided marketplace

·         Development of comprehensive, branded, public relations activation programs
