Summary / Objective

Name.com, a domain name registrar and web hosting company located in Denver, Colorado, and part of the Identity Digital Inc family, is looking for a Growth Marketing Strategist, Digital Acquisition (SEO/SEM) to oversee traffic acquisition for both our paid and organic channels. In this role, you’ll plan, develop, implement and manage our overall traffic acquisition strategy. You’ll lead continual efforts to analyze performance across key campaigns and channels and optimize campaigns to efficiently drive highly qualified traffic to the site. You’ll oversee two key agency relationships, Programmatic Media and Search Engine Optimization. As you get onboarded and familiar with current campaigns you’ll use data to advocate for new growth-driving initiatives throughout the funnel with an emphasis on the upper funnel. 

 

What You'll Do

 

The ideal candidate has a deep working knowledge of digital marketing and advertising and will serve as our internal ambassador for communicating learnings and performance in an effort to scale activities, improve brand awareness, and drive bottom-line growth. Given our paid and organic efforts are inextricably linked, you’re an expert in on-site optimization and SEO best practices and understand how these efforts support our paid campaigns. 

 

Paid media:

 

  • Responsible for channel performance and reporting

  • Continual optimization of CAC: LTV, overall ROI, and budget allocation

  • Define KPIs per channel; map appropriately to where in the funnel the activity is targeting

  • Understand and articulate audience targeting techniques; share learnings that are applicable to other marketing activities. Report on engagement and performance of new creative sets and their overall impact on conversion

  • Become a subject matter expert on leveraging insights from 3rd party advertising analytics platforms to drive increased incrementality across channels

  • Partner with our Sr Product Marketing Manager and Product/UX teams for support on campaign-specific requirements such as product bundles, custom landing pages/flows, and discounts. Ensure messaging, experience, and look & feel on the website is consistent with media in the market.

 

Organic Traffic:

 

  • Responsible for channel performance and reporting including revenue and keyword ranking gains/losses

  • Main POC for the agency; oversee and manage billable hours and deliverables

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to review, approve, edit, and post additional content

  • Partner with Product and UX teams on internal processes for publishing and tagging of content. 

  • Internal stakeholder for all things SEO; ensure Name.com website follows best practices for existing and new content generation.

 

Who You Are / What You Bring

 

  • 8+ years of marketing experience with min. 6 years of experience driving strategy and execution of impactful, large-scale (min. 6-figure) traffic acquisition projects

  • Deep knowledge of various traffic acquisition methods and tactics for improving online web traffic

  • Ability to oversee technical deployment of creative assets and tags

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy the opportunity to investigate new opportunities, evaluate their output, and pivot

  • E-commerce and/or agency experience a plus

  • Expert in Google Analytics. Familiarity with Tag Manager, Campaign Manager, Search Console, and other reporting/analytical tools such as Moz and SEMRUSH

  • Systematic approach to growth through regular hypothesis, experimentation, and iteration.

 

Salary range $128,000 – $152,000
