Graphic Designer
PlayerLync, the leading provider of modern learning solutions for mobile workers and people that work on their feet, is seeking a highly talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team.
The right candidate will possess a positive, can-do attitude, will be highly detail oriented and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing and Sales organization to ensure campaigns, advertising, copy, collateral, tradeshow, user forums and speaking engagements are all high-impact and successful.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine needs, and to ensure the needs/requests of clients are prioritized then completed
- Make final files ready for internal press and prepare final files for print at outside vendors
- Preparing detailed design concepts and proposals – preliminary and final for review with internal teams
- Utilize creative thinking for design concepts that might be out of scope, brainstorm new concepts and follow through with creation of concepts
- Provide professional output of sample files, graphics, and support for presentations and proposals
- Staying current with new technology, market trends, software and upgrades and new industry trends
- Support HTML and CSS designs, email blasts, files within specific web/email guidelines for optimal performance
- Ability to review and proofing internal and externally created materials prior to market launch
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience supporting marketing teams
- Experience in a high-tech start-up organization preferred
- Experience working with creative and design agencies
- Experience with today’s design software packages
- Calm Under Pressure: Many things can go wrong during an event, and something eventually will. Event coordinators need to remain calm during crisis and the high pressure of an event in progress.
- Organization skills: The better you are the more demand there will be on you to produce things for everyone. That’s great, but you’ll have to be able to prioritize appropriately.
- 4-year degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Knowledge and experience of Macintosh platform, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, other leading packages
- Video editing, web design, HTML, CSS, photography skills also a plus
