TeamSnap is seeking a process-oriented and systems-minded Director of Marketing Automation who will set the foundation to help us scale our B2B and B2C marketing channels.


This role will directly report to Shaina Jordan, VP of Data & Analytics, Marketing, and Members and collaborate with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders including design, product, analytics, and finance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving the selection, implementation, and maintenance of TeamSnap’s martech stack
  • Setting up, executing and measuring personalized marketing campaigns. Your focus will include nurture, activation, upsell, and retention
  • Serving as a player / coach of a small team. You and your team will schedule, project manage and execute all email, push and in-app campaigns, including one-time, recurring, and triggered that are sent from TeamSnap.
  • Ensure all communications are aligned with the internal review process and brand standards before deployment

What’ll set you up for success:

  • 10+ years of marketing automation experience in a SAAS or tech-enabled services business
  • 4+ years experience leading a marketing automation or marketing technology team
  • Hands on experience setting up campaigns and using marketing automation platforms in a scaling business to reach both B2C and B2B audiences
  • Familiar with multiple marketing automation platforms and integrations like Drift, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Braze, Iterable, etc.
  • Experience with marketing automation adjacent tools like Google tag manager, segment, etc.
  • Experience launching and measuring personalized multi-channel nurture, activation and re-engagement campaigns Experience working cross-functionally to ensure data and process integrity, as well as ensuring that integrations between the martech stack and multiple data sources like Salesforce and production data systems are functioning as expected
  • Never being content with the status quo. A mindset to continuously iterate on and improve the company's email, push, and in-app marketing strategy, test plans, and overall program development while creating new flows, and nurture campaigns for prospects and customers.
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing and all of the TLA performance marketing metrics including LTV / CAC and ROI

Bonus points:

  • Experience executing and reporting on programs to support monetization initiatives
  • Experience with SQL or using reporting tools like Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, or Mode Analytics
  • Understanding of a scripting language like Python or Ruby
  • Be a parent, coach or participant in a recreational sport
  • Ability to talk to animals, Doctor Doolittle-style

Location

We are headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, but this job is remote (unless you happen to live near Boulder, in which case you’re welcome to come to the office). TeamSnap is a mostly-distributed company, so you must be very comfortable working with people who aren’t in the same physical location as you or each other. While we love all parts of the world, we can only hire permanent US residents at this time.

Location

We're fully remote, but our HQ is located near Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado within walking distance of countless coffee shops and restaurants.
