This year, Evolve launched Building Hospitality, our ongoing commitment to the communities we share and care about. With every stay booked on Evolve.com, we’re able to repair homes and revitalize communities in partnership with nonprofits across the country. But this is just the beginning! We are looking for a Director, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to lead our impact strategy and initiatives. You’ll be responsible for engaging our Evolvers, planning our partnerships, and measuring our impact. While it will initially be just you, we’re looking for someone who can eventually build and grow a team. Ready to help us make a difference?

What you’ll do

  • Develop near and long-term strategies to facilitate growth of Evolve’s Building Hospitality CSR programs
  • Own the development of Evolve’s long-term ESG strategy and roadmap that is integrated with Evolve’s social impact strategy, company purpose, and business objectives
  • Create a strategic framework to support the maintenance and expansion of Building Hospitality as our efforts expand to new markets with a growing number of teammates
  • Partner with People Team to ensure Evolve's CSR strategy elevates and strengthens our internal commitment to DEI&B and vice versa
  • Expertly manage Evolve’s philanthropic investment and provide ROI analysis to leadership team and other stakeholders
  • Develop end-to-end plans (timelines, deliverables, and processes) to meet program goals and project manage partnerships
  • Vet charitable organizations and identify opportunities for both local and national community engagement that align with Evolve’s CSR focus areas and brand impact priorities
  • Enhance opportunities for teammates to engage directly with the mission
  • Drive internal awareness of Building Hospitality activities and results through all-teammate communications (emails, intranet, infographics, etc.), in coordination with the internal communications team
  • Partner with and elevate our internal community groups (Care@ and Green@) to ensure activities align with broader CSR initiatives
  • Help track and measure volunteer hours and teammate engagement for specific volunteer programs
  • Track and communicate Social Impact investments and activities to internal and external stakeholders, including monthly progress updates on KPIs and annual impact report in coordination with the public relations team
  • Build annual CSR programming calendar in coordination with our Marketing team
  • Create and ensure that all policies and procedures that govern volunteering and giving practices are followed

What makes you a great fit 

  • 10+ years of experience in a CSR/ESG/Social Impact role
  • Experience building programs from the ground up and iterating on them as the company grows
  • An exceptional relationship builder with the ability to increase trust and collaboration across a diverse group of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ROI analysis and other reporting needs
  • An engaging communicator with the ability to amplify the voices and lived experiences of those impacted by the causes we stand for
  • Deep knowledge in CSR and ESG topics current trends
  • Past ownership over the creation of Social Impact reports and related metrics
  • Exceptional cross-functional management skills; ability to bring people together around a common goal and lead by influence
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Location 

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work in our beautiful downtown Denver office, completely remote, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $119,000 to $136,000, depending on relevant experience.  This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.

Our office is located in Downtown Denver surrounded by the best the city has to offer. With our flexible remote work policy, our teammates are free to work in person in our Colorado space or remotely from home in 48 approved states.
