Customer Marketing Manager Returnship

As our Customer Marketing Manager on our Growth Marketing Team, you’ll partner closely with Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to balance collaboration with execution across a broad range of initiatives. Your success will be defined by your ability to leverage innovative, thoughtful, and impactful programs/campaigns using various channels: digital, email, webinars, ABM, live events, and other new tactics that educate customers on Unanet solutions and help unlock value. You will prioritize objectives, manage relationships with Customer Success, and leverage data and key insights to drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities, leading to measurable growth for our business.
What You Will Do
- Align and partner with key stakeholders across Customer Success and Marketing to develop campaigns that drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across channels, including organic and paid channels, content, email, as well as virtual and live events
- Work with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing Operations to develop sequences that ensure continued education and success throughout the customer lifecycle
- Coordinate with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to manage product release communications
- Help Marketing and Sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, user groups, annual user conferences, etc.
- Continually measure, monitor, and drive improvement in campaign approaches; employ industry best practices and look for opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Analyze and present data-driven program performance, learnings, and recommendations simply and effectively
Your First 90 Days
In your first 30 days, you will become familiar with our customers, products, the industries we serve, as well as our approach to marketing, sales, and customer success. You will review existing customer marketing initiatives and campaigns to understand overall goals, approach, and the market. You will familiarize yourself with our products, existing customer marketing strategy, and upcoming initiatives, and work across our Marketing and Customer Success Teams to understand business needs and requirements. Finally, you will review existing campaign metrics to understand what has been successful in the past and begin working on smaller projects to familiarize yourself with our process.
In your first 60 days, you will review our customer marketing strategy and flag projects you would like to work on. You will take ownership of individual campaigns, help develop future projects, and work with our team to continue building out our strategic plan.
In your first 90 days, you will refine our strategy for the remainder of the year, identify campaign gaps, build on existing campaigns, and execute these campaigns with the support of our Marketing Team.
Who You Are
- You have been out of the workforce for at least 12 months
- 3+ years of proven experience in B2B marketing
- Ability to successfully prioritize, balance multiple projects, and manage complex workstreams
- Strength in storytelling and the ability to build a messaging strategy to drive product understanding at scale
- Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts
- Experience working with marketing automation systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Outstanding communication abilities, including written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to make decisions independently and/or as part of a team
- Ability to think strategically and live in the details of execution
- Team player mentality with the ability to build and foster cross-departmental relationships

- Prior experience in B2B software

The salary range for this opportunity is $75,000 - $85,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
