We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join the SpotX Marketing team. You will help establish and drive SpotX’s content agenda, producing pioneering thought leadership content and using data and analytics to craft a compelling story.
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating engaging and relevant content for marketing efforts. This will include content to help drive lead generation, client engagement and support SpotX’s positioning as an industry thought leader. This person will be collaborative, flexible, a critical thinker, and interested in and intrigued by ad tech. You will influence marketing strategy, campaign development, and measurement across the world. You’ll be a quick learner who excels in a fast-paced environment, and are constantly looking for increased responsibility.
Making an immediate impact:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, product marketing, data science and engineering teams to understand consumer needs and product use cases
- Translate research findings to help define brand positioning, develop audiences, and optimize/improve marketing communications to achieve business objectives
- Communicate effectively and inspirationally in order to motivate people to take action in marketing and across the organization
- Craft interesting stories using research and data for various mediums including, long-form content, white papers, ebooks, and blog posts
- Own company award submissions and strategy. Tasked with the opportunity to shape the world’s view of SpotX by showcasing our best products and people
- Write content for sales enablement materials: including one-sheets, presentations, and sales guides
Needed SpotX’er talents:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing, market research, copywriting or copy editing capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with Twitter and LinkedIn in a business setting
- Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Must be adaptable, adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, able to change approach or method to best fit the situation, able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other team members
- Must be able to think creatively, think outside of the box, and a strong project manager
- Must be willing to take initiative, volunteers readily, seeks increased responsibilities, asks for and offers help when needed
