Your mission:

As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you are obsessed with transforming data and analytics into meaningful and actionable insights that support the performance and optimization of Propeller’s digital marketing efforts including SEO, paid search, website, digital content, and other demand gen channels.

 

About you:

You are a passionate digital marketer who is looking to help drive the success of an early stage GIS analytics SaaS product. You are an imaginative, creative, collaborative, and technical self-starter.

You thrive on innovation, can move rapidly, and are confident in your skill sets. You love being part of a team and can communicate with product developers, engineers, and our internal stakeholders to help optimize volume and conversion for both top-of-funnel as well as mid-funnel sales stages.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own and optimize Propeller’s digital marketing channels including website, SEO/SEM, paid social media and display advertising.
  • Analyze and report on competitor keyword and SEO and ad strategies
  • Utilize SEO Tools (Google Analytics, SEM Rush, MOZ, Google Search Console, etc.) to gauge organic search performance
  • Conduct keyword research to inform website optimization recommendations and implement website metadata recommendations
  • Set up, closely monitor and optimize campaign performance across the entire Google Ad network, social media advertising platforms and other PPC advertising platforms
  • Identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search and PPC campaigns
  • Create new A/B tests, then analyze and share results in order to identify trends and opportunities
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and campaign performance and develop management-facing reports
  • Implement regular content updates to website and manage routine maintenance, page development and optimization


 

Typical Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO & SEM experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Deep understanding of how SEO/SEM impacts conversion
  • Understanding of Google analytics and Google Data Studio and the ability to set up tracking/reporting mechanisms to collect key data required.
  • A strong knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and present performance data in a meaningful way
  • Ultra detail oriented, yet creative

Tools We Use:

  • Experience with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Ads, Wordpress, HubSpot, HotJar, CrazyEgg, etc.
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing. Familiarity with best practices for content distribution channels such as social media, email marketing, blog, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills

The salary range offered for this role is $70,000 - $82,000. This range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. Any salary offer that is extended will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Propeller will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Propeller.
