Job Description:
In this role as Marketing Content Writer for Arrow’s services business, you will write, source, and collaborate on various types of internal- and external-facing content to build global awareness, drive business growth, and best position Arrow for success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering major/minor a plus.)
- 5+ years’ experience in high tech, B2B content writing with some technical proficiency and the curiosity to learn continuously
- Previous hand-on experience in engineering field including, but not limited to: IoT, Cloud Solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI), SaaS, autonomous machines, or Machine Learning (Preferred)
- Proven history writing and editing content to support various engineering services: IoT, Cloud Solutions, Artificial Intelligence (AI), SaaS, autonomous machines, or Machine Learning (Preferred)
- Ability to understand, digest, and articulate complex concepts for technical audiences via engaging content
- Excellent research and interviewing skills
- Exceptional copywriting, copyediting, proofreading skills along with strong verbal communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects successfully and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, sales, and industry experts to produce content relevant to our target audiences along all phases of their buyer journeys
- Partner with Marketing Managers to develop content strategy and calendar. Execute on that calendar by both writing and sourcing content to build a sustainable content marketing machine
- Align with Digital Marketing Manager on SEO/keyword strategy and content performance
- Continuously curate content (including but not limited to one-pagers, brochures, sales decks/materials, white papers, case studies, blog posts, video scripts, infographics, email content, landing pages, and social media posts)
- Manage, modify, and update existing content to repurpose as needed
- Support the launch plans for new products, services, and bundles, ensuring all content and assets are available
- Orchestrate cross-functional content development, delivery and discovery activities
- Engage, build relationships, and leverage external industry experts to assist in content creation
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of all content marketing efforts. Leverage findings to continually tune the editorial calendar and roadmap
Education:
Bachelors Degree (Required)
Masters or higher education (Nice to have)
One or more degrees in an Engineering field such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
