This position is within our Platform Operations Team. This team is responsible for driving development of our PAR product. PAR, by Pando Telecom, revolutionizes device monitoring with its 'single pane of glass' dashboard, offering unparalleled control and visibility over network infrastructure. This intuitive platform not only simplifies complex network management but also proactively monitors system health, ensuring reliability and reducing downtime. Designed for scalability, PAR adapts to diverse industry needs, making it an essential tool for businesses aiming to optimize their network operations with ease and efficiency.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Document processes, systems, and configurations to ensure that knowledge is shared and practices are standardized across the team.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and practices related to DevOps, cloud computing, containerization, and automation to improve skills and contribute more effectively to the team's goals.
  • Work closely with DevOps team, share feedback, and implement solutions that improve development and deployment processes.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the deployment and operation of software.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring solutions to track the performance of applications and infrastructure.
  • Help manage and monitor cloud-based or on-premises infrastructure to ensure that resources are optimized and costs are controlled.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable automatic code integration and deployment
  • Automate repetitive tasks related to software development, deployment, and operations using scripts and DevOps tools.
  • Responsible for developing and optimizing data queries and visualizations to ensure clear and effective presentation of performance metrics, facilitating informed decision-making and comprehensive monitoring.

Preferred Technical Qualifications::

  • Proficiency with Git and Git workflows
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Golang).
  • Familiarity with at least one query language (e.g., SQL, PromQL).
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including automation, collaboration, and operations efficiency.
  • Understanding of the core concepts that drive efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Exposure to container technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).

  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and continuously improve.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and project requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors, including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
