IT Infrastructure Manager

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for handling a variety of activities and simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment. This position will lead a team of a support team that provides high quality PC Support to over 10,000 clients at Arrow facilities throughout North America.
Job Responsibilities:
· Responsible for managing to functional goals in the areas of services, system health, performance metrics, project management.
· Manage staff including hiring, performance management, salary administration, career development, motivation, teambuilding.
· Systems analysis and design to support projects and requests—data analysis, business process analysis, hardware and software analysis. Data model design, program specifications, project request estimates.
· Fulfill the role of a business relationship manager to assist in the direction, analysis, definition, prioritization of the business requirements. Provide a single point of contact for the client.
· Budget and Planning. Create and administer department and project budgets.
Required Experience:
· Minimum 8 years of related experience managing technical support teams.
· Experience managing professional employees and/or supervisors of large, complex technical or business support or production operations teams.
· Demonstrated accountability and success managing the performance and results of a team providing technical support to geographically diverse users.
· Demonstrated ability to create and manage departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
· Demonstrated effective decision making guided by policies, procedures and business plans.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with guidance from senior management.
· Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, customers and end users.
· Demonstrated accountability for performance results of a small team.
· Experience exercising limited management authority; setting employee performance objectives, conducting performance reviews and recommending pay actions.
· Experience defining team operating standards and demonstrated ability to ensure essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline.
· Travel when required (less than 20%).
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
Preferred:
· Experience creating team knowledge Wiki using Microsoft SharePoint.
· Experience creating and editing Knowledgebase articles.
· Technical Project Management experience – PMP Certification
