Eligibility

Our next internship program runs through the summer of 2021. We're looking for students who are working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent), and due to complete their studies to be available for a full time role commencing in 2022.

The role

Interns on the Markit Digital design team will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of designers on a range of projects and initiatives. We are looking for intern candidates with these interests and skills:

• Analytical thinking and interest in solving complex, multi factor design problems
• Experience with digital design tools including Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud
• Interest and experience in emerging technologies and data visualization
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, 3D modeling and animation tools, motion graphics and animation are a plus

To be an ideal fit for the role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) completed no later than May 2022
• 0-6 months relevant work experience
• Demonstrated passion or interest in one or more of our key industries
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
• The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting
• Be legally eligible to work for the duration of the program in the country for which you apply

Designer - Understanding the latest trends and leveraging sharp analytical skills and specialized industry expertise, our designers work to solve complex user experience, data visualization and emerging technology challenges that all aim to deliver digital experiences that guide our clients in long term decision making. If you are passionate about building experiences around data and challenging problems, and becoming an UX designer, then the design stream is for you.
