What you’ll be doing:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the field services ecosystem and consumer-facing fintech products at a fast-growing and highly operational SaaS business
  • Contribute to strategic positioning work (including our direct/indirect competitors and our customers) through both direct research and collaboration with product, fintech, marketing teams
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research and customer feedback to influence strategic positioning; conduct value-chain ecosystem mapping
  • Work within a flat organizational structure with ability to present findings directly to executive team
  • Ability to work for 8-12 weeks at a regular cadence of 10 hours per week


Qualifications:

  • Current full-time 2nd year MBA student
  • Self-starter mentality and independent thinker
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and influence key stakeholders
  • Great attention to detail and strong communication and storytelling skills with ability to translate complex technical solutions into a simple customer language
  • Ability to take a project goal, build analysis and narrative, and illustrate with clean slide deck visuals and crisp storyline
  • Strong project management and eagerness to learn new skills
  • Previous experience in technology, product, marketing, finance, consulting or operations is a plus
  • Interest or experience in SMBs and home service business trades is a plus

Location

We are actively hiring in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO. Majority of our employees work remotely but we have an office in the RINO district if employees choose to come in.
