Ball is recruiting for our Summer 2021 interns. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. In addition, applicants must be enrolled fall semester 2021. This will be a full-time position for the summer for 10 weeks starting near the end of May 2021.
This Internship will be a remote position.

General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship) – Portfolio / Program Management
- We are seeking a dedicated Portfolio Program Management Intern to assist with the planning, coordination and tracking of various projects. The intern will collaborate closely with Sr. Portfolio Program Managers to provide support for a range of project planning/management activities.
This role will work closely with various members of the project team to develop timelines, create schedules, and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time.
Essential Functions of the Internship - Provide support and assistance to program managers in completion of all required tasks to meet departmental and project goals.
- Responsible for the maintenance of plans and timelines within ServiceNow and communicating project status in designated platforms.
- Assist with developing program management dashboards, reports and presentations.
- Generate and publish weekly project and program reports; incorporate process improvements and innovation in developing new reports.
- Assist in coordinating project/program meetings, collecting agenda and action items and creating meeting minutes.
Education Required:
- Undergraduate student (Junior or Senior) in Project/Program Management, Business (Analytics focus), or other related area
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Suite, Excel pivot tables and graphs, Data Mining
Qualifications:
- Planning, organization, and execution skills.
- Ability to proactively manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to provide and apply creative solutions to maintain workflow.
- Strong computer skills, to include project management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global team setting with staff of different backgrounds and experience levels.
- Strong interest in learning and developing professional skills.
- Logical problem-solving skills; looks beyond immediate problems to consider root causes and addresses them.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Possess a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Exhibits impeccable integrity and good judgement with sensitive information.
Compensation & Benefits:
- This is a paid internship. Hourly rates between $17.00 - 22.00 for Bachelor level and up to $27.00 for Graduate level interns.
